I am off to find adventure in Rwanda! As a part of the Primate Studies Field School with the University of Arizona, I am traveling to the Land of A Thousand Hills to study and observe 9-12 different species of primates in three national parks. From gorillas and chimpanzees to baboons and golden monkeys, I cannot wait to live this primatology dream! But first, I am going to this beautiful country with my parents. These next several days, I will meet the little boy Umuhire that my family supports through Compassion International and I will visit three different orphanages in Kigali and near Lake Kivu that Engineers Without Borders, CU supports. I must say, I have no idea what to expect! And that is the best part!
